EVERYONE deserves a LIFETIME!


This weekend 106 people will be walking on TEAM ROBIN in honor of my sister Robin who passed away 4 years ago of Breast Cancer. We will be walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure in Fresno, CA. We have raised over $1,900 to help END breast cancer. She was strong and inspiring for all that knew her. She put the “C” in COURAGE. She never let the diease rule her! She helped others who were unable to find the strength and courage to fight.
She was diagnosed at the age of 29 and spent 11 years in battle with this disease. I have learned more about life during the last 2 years of her battle then I think I did in the previous ones. 1) See the good in everyday–focus on that! 2) Look for optimism in life and ignore negativism. 3) Remember a day is 24 hours and you will make it through! 4) Smile at people and in turn you will be happier. 5) Leave a mark as often as you can on the world! Small things add up. Every good deed does help make the world a better place. 6) Set goals(be ok if they are not reached and set new ones) 7) Hug and kiss a pet. They are best at letting you know you are loved and appreciated! 8) Not happy–Change!! It is in your power!
When life is said and done I know I mattered…I affected..I changed things.
I want a day without BREAST CANCER so no one has to lose what I have LOST!
If you want to make a difference JOIN IN, make a difference and matter..Whatever your cause make it count because it MATTERS!
